INFORMAÇÃO DE SEGURANÇA

SEGURANÇA DO COMBUSTÍVEL

PERIGO

DO NOT  add fuel to equipment if it is placed inside truck

bed with plastic liner. Possibility exists of explosion or

ﬁ re due to static electricity

DO NOT  start the engine near spilled fuel or combustible

ﬂ uids. Fuel is extremely ﬂ ammable and its vapors can

cause an explosion if ignited.

ALWAYS  refuel in a well-ventilated area, away from

sparks and open ﬂ ames.

ALWAYS  use extreme caution when working with

ﬂ ammable liquids.

DO NOT  ﬁ ll the fuel tank while the engine is running

or hot.

DO NOT  overﬁ ll tank, since spilled fuel could ignite if it

comes into contact with hot engine parts or sparks from

the ignition system.

Store fuel in appropriate containers, in well-ventilated 

areas and away from sparks and ﬂ ames.

NEVER  use fuel as a cleaning agent.

DO NOT  smoke around or near the

equipment. Fire or explosion could result

from fuel vapors or if fuel is spilled on a

hot engine.

FUEL

SEGURANÇA DA BATERIA (SÓ PARTIDA ELÉTRICA)

PERIGO

DO NOT  drop the battery. There is a possibility that the

battery will explode.

DO NOT  expose the battery to open ﬂ ames,

sparks, cigarettes, etc. The battery contains

combustible gases and liquids. If these

gases and liquids come into contact with a

ﬂ ame or spark, an explosion could occur.

AVISO

ALWAYS  wear safety glasses when

handling the battery to avoid eye irritation.

The battery contains acids that can cause

injury to the eyes and skin.

Use well-insulated gloves when picking up 

the battery.

ALWAYS  keep the battery charged. If the battery is not

charged, combustible gas will build up.

DO NOT  charge battery if frozen. Battery can explode.

When frozen, warm the battery to at least 61°F (16°C).

ALWAYS  recharge the battery in a well-ventilated

environment to avoid the risk of a dangerous concentration

of combustible gases.

If the battery liquid (dilute sulfuric acid) 

comes into contact with clothing or skin,

rinse skin or clothing immediately with

plenty of water.

If the battery liquid (dilute sulfuric acid) comes into 

contact with eyes, rinse eyes immediately with plenty

of water and contact the nearest doctor or hospital to

seek medical attention.

CUIDADO

ALWAYS  disconnect the NEGATIVE battery terminal

before performing service on the equipment.

ALWAYS  keep battery cables in good working condition.

Repair or replace all worn cables.

NÃO adicione combustível ao equipamento se ele estiver

colocado dentro da caçamba do caminhão com

revestimento plástico. Há possibilidade de explosão ou

incêndio devido à eletricidade estática.

REVESTIMENTO

PLÁSTICO DA

CAÇAMBA

NÃO dê partida no motor próximo a combustível

derramado ou fluidos combustíveis. O combustível é

extremamente inflamável e seus vapores podem causar

uma explosão se uma faísca os acender.

SEMPRE reabasteça em uma área bem ventilada, longe

de faíscas e chamas abertas.

SEMPRE seja muito cuidadoso ao trabalhar com líquidos

inflamáveis.

Não complete o combustível do tanque enquanto o motor

estiver em operação ou ainda quente.

NÃO encha demais o tanque, pois o combustível

derramado pode se incendiar se entrar em contato com

peças quentes do motor ou faíscas provenientes do

sistema de ignição.

Armazene o combustível em recipientes apropriados, em

áreas bem ventilatadas e longe de faíscas e chamas.

NUNCA use combustível como um agente de limpeza.

NÃO fume ao redor ou próximo do

equipamento. Incêndio ou explosão pode

resultar disso devido aos vapores de

combustível, ou então se o combustível for

derramado em um motor quente.

NÃO deixe a bateria cair. Existe uma possibilidade de que

ela exploda.

NÃO exponha a bateria a chamas abertas,

faíscas, cigarros, etc. A bateria contém gases

e líquidos combustíveis. Se estes entrarem

em contato com uma chama ou faísca, pode

ocorrer uma explosão.

Utilize SEMPRE óculos de segurança quando

manusear a bateria para evitar irritação dos

olhos. A bateria contém ácidos que podem

causar ferimento nos olhos e na pele.

Utilize luvas de bom isolamento quando pegar a bateria.

Mantenha SEMPRE a bateria com carga. Se ela não

estiver carregada, haverá acúmulo de gás combustível.

NÃO dê carga na bateria se ela estiver congelada. Ela

pode explodir. Quando ela estiver congelada, aqueça-a ao

menos até 61°F (16°C).

SEMPRE recarregue a bateria em um ambiente bem

ventilado para evitar o risco de uma concentração perigosa

de gases combustíveis.

Se o líquido da bateria (solução de ácido

sulfúrico) entrar em contato com a ROUPA

ou a PELE, lave imediatamente a pele ou a

roupa com bastante água.

Se o líquido da bateria (solução de ácido sulfúrico) entrar

em contato com os OLHOS, lave-os imediatamente com

bastante água, e entre em contato com o médico ou

hospital mais próximo para buscar atendimento.

Mantenha SEMPRE os cabos da bateria em boa condição

de utilização. Conserte ou substitua todos os cabos gastos.

Desconecte SEMPRE o terminal NEGATIVO da bateria

antes de fazer reparos no equipamento.
