OPERAÇÃO

Connect the saw to your water source and start the 1.

engine as described in the previous section.

Rotate the throttle lever (Figure 22) to full throttle.2.

Turn the water valve to start the ﬂ ow of water and 3.

ensure sufﬁ cient water supply is directed to both sides

of the diamond blade.

Release Parking Brake by pulling Lever UP.4.

To begin sawing, rotate the Raise/Lower Wheel until 5.

Push the Parking Brake Lever downward to apply 11.

If cutting is interrupted where the engine stops or is turned

off while the blade is still in the cut:

Turn Engine Off switches to 1. OFF

Raise the blade out of the cut2.

Restart the engine as described in the previous 3.

section.

Recheck the integrity of the diamond blade.4.

If cutting is interrupted where the blade is stuck in the

cut:

Turn Engine Off switches to 1. OFF.

Remove the blade guard.2.

Remove blade mounting bolt and outer ﬂ ange.3.

Maneuver the saw away from the stuck blade.4.

A parallel cut made next to the blade may be necessary 5.

to free it.

Once the blade is freed inspect the blade for damage; 6.

discard if damaged.

Ensure an undamaged, useable blade is installed on 7.

the saw before cutting is resumed with that saw.

CUIDADO

The only acceptable method for freeing a stuck blade is

to remove the saw from the stuck or pinched blade. DO

NOT try to get the blade unstuck using the Raise/Lower

system or by lifting the saw by the lifting bale, etc.

1. Conecte a serra à sua fonte de água e dê a partida no motor

conforme descrito na seção anterior.

2. Gire a alavanca do acelerador (Figura 22) para a posição de

aceleração total.

3. Abra a válvula de água para iniciar o fluxo de água e garantir

que um fornecimento de água suficiente está sendo enviado

para ambos os lados do lâmina de diamante.

4. Solte o freio de estacionamento suspendendo a alavanca.

5. Para iniciar a operação com a serra, gire o Volante de

Levantamento/Abaixamento até que a profundidade desejada

seja mostrada no Anel Indicador de Profundidade.

6. Quando a lâmina tiver alcançado a profundidade de corte

desejada, mova o Lingueta de Travamento da Profundidade

para a posição dentro do Volante de Levantamento/

Abaixamento.

7. Desloque lentamente a serra para diante com uma

velocidade que permita aos diamantes um corte sem perder a

RPM ideal da lâmina.

8. Quando o corte estiver concluído, desligue o motor (DESL)

usando o INTERRUPTOR DE COMANDO existente no

guidão e aguarde até a lâmina parar de girar.

9. Ponha o interruptor LIG/DESL do motor na posição DESL.

10. Ponha o interruptor LIG/DESL do válvula de água na

posição DESL (como exigido).

11. Coloque a Alavanca do Freio de Estacionamento para

baixo a fim de aplicar pressão de frenagem nas rodas.

Se a operação de corte foi interrompida porque o motor parou

ou foi desligado enquanto a lâmina ainda estava operando:

1. Ponha os interruptores em DESL.

2. Levante a lâmina para fora do corte.

3. Dê nova partida no motor conforme descrito na seção

anterior.

4. Verifique novamente a integridade da lâmina de diamante.

O único método aceitável para resolver o caso de uma

lâmina presa é soltar a serra (o equipamento) da lâmina

presa ou comprimida. NÃO tente desprender a lâmina

usando o sistema de Levantamento/Abaixamento ou

erguendo a serra pela sua alça de levantamento, etc.

Se a operação de corte foi interrompida porque a lâmina ficou

presa no corte:

1. Ponha os interruptores LIG/DESL na posição DESL.

2. Retire a guarda da lâmina.

3. Retire os parafusos de montagem e o flange externo da

lâmina.

4. Manobra a serra para longe da lâmina presa.

5. Pode ser necessário fazer um corte paralelo, próximo à

lâmina presa, para soltá-la.

6. Uma vez que a lâmina tenha sido solta, inspecione-a

quanto a alguma danificação; descarte-a se ela foi danificada.

7. Assegure-se de que uma lâmina utilizável, não danificada,

está instalada na serra, antes de ser reiniciado o corte com

aquela serra.
